എസ്.എസ്.എല്‍.സി എ-ലിസ്റ്റുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് ധാരാളം ഫോണ്‍കോളുകള്‍ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ടീമംഗങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വരികയുണ്ടായി. തികച്ചും ലളിതമലയാളത്തില്‍ ഈ സോഫ്റ്റ്വെയറിന്റെ പിന്നിലെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചും ഇന്‍സ്റ്റലേഷനെക്കുറിച്ചും വിശദമായി പ്രതിപാദിക്കാന്‍ ശ്രമിക്കുകയാണിവിടെ. ഈ ലേഖനവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടുള്ള സംശയങ്ങളോ തിരുത്തുകളോ ആവശ്യമെങ്കില്‍ കമന്റ് ചെയ്യുമല്ലോ. ഇനി വിഷയത്തിലേക്ക്… ഈ പോസ്റ്റിന് അനുബന്ധമായി എന്റര്‍ ചെയ്ത ഡാറ്റ ബാക്ക് അപ് എടുക്കുന്ന വിധത്തെപ്പറ്റി മലപ്പുറത്തെ മാസ്റ്റര്‍ ട്രെയിനറായ ഹസൈനാര്‍ മങ്കട കുറെ വിവരങ്ങള്‍ നമുക്കയച്ചു തന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. അതു കൂടി ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്തിക്കൊണ്ട് ലേഖനം update ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്.
Step 1
MySql ഇന്‍സ്റ്റാള്‍ ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ള കമ്പ്യൂട്ടറിലേ നമുക്ക് ഈ SSLC A-LIst ഡാറ്റാ എന്‍ട്രി സോഫ്റ്റ്വെയര്‍ ഇന്‍സ്റ്റാള്‍ ചെയ്യാനാകൂ. അത് ലോഡ് ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടോയെന്ന് ചെക്കു ചെയ്യാം.
Root ആയി മാത്രം ഇന്‍സ്റ്റലേഷന്‍ നടത്താനാണ് സോഫ്റ്റ്വെയര്‍ നിര്‍ദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നത്. അതുകൊണ്ട് റൂട്ടായി Login ചെയ്താല്‍ മതി.
1.Desktop-Administration-Synaptic Package Manager എടുക്കുക.
2.Control Key യും f ബട്ടണും ഒരേ സമയം അമര്‍ത്തുക.
3.ഇപ്പോള്‍ വരുന്ന Search Box ല്‍ mysql എന്ന് Type ചെയ്ത് Enter അടിക്കുക.
4.റിസല്‍ട്ടായി വരുന്ന ഫയലുകളില്‍ mysql എന്ന് പേര് തുടങ്ങുന്ന ഫയലുകള്‍ നോക്കുക.
mysql ഇന്‍സ്റ്റാള്‍ ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ ആ ഫയലുകളുടെയെല്ലാം ഇടതുവശത്ത് ഒരു പച്ച ചതുരം കാണാം.
ഇന്‍സ്റ്റാള്‍ ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ലെങ്കില്‍ വെള്ള ചതുരമായിരിക്കും കാണുക. എങ്കില്‍ നമുക്ക് mysql ഇന്‍സ്റ്റാള്‍ ചെയ്യണം.
അതിന് mysql ല്‍ തുടങ്ങുന്ന ആ ഫയലുകളുടടെയെല്ലാം ഇടതുവശത്തെ വെളുത്ത ചതുരത്തില്‍ ക്ലിക്ക് (Left click) ചെയ്യുമ്പോള്‍ വരുന്ന വിന്റോയില്‍ നിന്നും Mark for installation സെലക്ട് ചെയ്ത് മെനുബാറിന് താഴെയുള്ള Apply ബട്ടണില്‍ ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക. ഇന്‍സ്റ്റലേഷന്‍ നടക്കും.
Step 2
സോഫ്റ്റ്വെയര്‍ സി.ഡിയില്‍ നിന്നും dist എന്ന ഫോള്‍ഡര്‍ copy എടുത്ത് Root ന്റെ Desktop ലേക്ക് Paste ചെയ്യുക.
ഇനി mysql പ്രോഗ്രാമിലേക്ക് ലോഗിന്‍ ചെയ്യേണ്ടേ?
Applications-System Tools-Terminalഎന്ന ക്രമത്തില്‍ ടെര്‍മിനല്‍ തുറന്ന്
mysql -u root mysql; എന്ന് ടൈപ്പ് ചെയ്ത് Enter അടിക്കുക.
(ഏത് mysql കമാന്റിന് ശേഷവും Semicolon ഇടാന്‍ മറക്കരുത്)
പിന്നീടെപ്പോഴെങ്കിലും mysql കമാന്റുകളെപ്പറ്റി അറിയണമെന്നുണ്ടോ?
ഇതാ ഡൗണ്‍ലോഡ് ചെയ്ത് വെച്ചോളൂ
ആ സമയം ഇങ്ങനെയായിരിക്കും output ലഭിക്കുക
Type ‘help;’ or ‘\h’ for help. Type ‘\c’ to clear the buffer.
mysql>
പാസ്വേഡ് കൊടുക്കാം
set PASSWORD FOR root@localhost=PASSWORD(‘root’);എന്ന് ടൈപ്പ് ചെയ്ത് Enter അടിക്കുക.
ആ സമയം ഇങ്ങനെയായിരിക്കും output ലഭിക്കുക
mysql> SET PASSWORD FOR root@localhost=PASSWORD(‘root’);
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.00 sec)
mysql>
ഇതിന് മുന്‍പെങ്ങാന്‍ sslc എന്ന പേരില്‍ ഒരു Database Mysql ല്‍ ഉണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ Deleteചെയ്തേ പറ്റൂ
drop database sslc; എന്ന് ടൈപ്പ് ചെയ്ത് Enter അടിക്കുക.
ഇനി പുതിയ Database നിര്‍മ്മിക്കണം
create database sslc; എന്ന് ടൈപ്പ് ചെയ്ത് Enter അടിക്കുക.
ആ സമയം ഇങ്ങനെയായിരിക്കും output ലഭിക്കുക
mysql> create database sslc;
Query OK, 1 row affected (0.02 sec)
mysql>
ഇനി നമുക്ക് എ-ലിസ്റ്റിന്റെ ടേബിള്‍ ഡാറ്റ Database ലേക്ക് കോപ്പി ചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രവര്‍ത്തനമാണ് നടത്തേണ്ടത്.
അതു കൊണ്ട് തന്നെ mysql പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം തല്‍ക്കാലത്തേക്ക് Abort ചെയ്യാം
ഇതിനായി കണ്‍ട്രോള്‍ C അമര്‍ത്തുക
output ആയി aborted എന്നു വന്നിട്ടുണ്ടാകും.
ഇനി Dist ഫോള്‍ഡറില്‍ Right Click ചെയ്യുക. ഇപ്പോള്‍ വരുന്ന വിന്റോയിലെ run in Terminal ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക.
ഇപ്പോള്‍ ടെര്‍മിനലില്‍ Debain:~/Desktop/dist# എന്നു വന്നിട്ടുണ്ടാകും.
അവിടെ mysql -u root -proot sslc<sslc_db.sql
അല്പം സമയം കാത്തിരിക്കുക. ഇവിടെ ടേബിള്‍ ഡാറ്റ Create ചെയ്യപ്പെടുകയാണ്
ഈ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം കഴിയുമ്പോള്‍ Automatic ആയി Debain:~/Desktop/dist# എന്നു വന്നു നില്‍ക്കും.
സ്റ്റെപ്പ് 3
ഇനി നമുക്ക് ജാവ ഇന്‍സ്റ്റാള്‍ ചെയ്യണം. അതിനായി dist ഫോള്‍ഡറിലെ jdk-6u7-linux-i586.bin
എന്ന ഫയല്‍ കോപ്പി ചെയ്ത് റൂട്ടിന്റെ home folder ല്‍ പേസ്റ്റു ചെയ്യുക.
ആ ഫയലില്‍ റൈറ്റ് ബട്ടണ്‍ ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്ത് Properties ല്‍ Permission കൊടുക്കണം. File Owner ആയി Root തന്നെ ആക്കിക്കൊടുക്കണം. Owner ക്ക് Read,Write & Execute എല്ലാം ടിക് ചെയ്ത് കൊടുക്കുക. (സര്‍വ്വാധികാരം നല്‍കുന്നു)
ആ ഫയലില്‍ Right click ചെയ്ത് Open in terminal സെലക്ട് ചെയ്യുക. ഈ സമയം ജാവയുടെ ഉപയോഗം സംബന്ധിച്ച ഒരു നെടുനീളന്‍ Terms& conditions വരും. തീരുന്ന വരെ Enter കീ അടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുക.
ജാവയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട Terms & Conditions ആണ്.
വെറുതെ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ അത് മുഴുവന്‍ വായിച്ചു നോക്കാം കേട്ടോ. ഇതാണ് ആ നിയമാവലി
അവസാനം Do you agree to the above license terms? [yes or no] എന്ന ഒരു ചോദ്യം വരും.
മറുപടി Yes എന്ന് ടൈപ്പ് ചെയ്ത് എന്റര്‍ അടിക്കുക. ഇനി ഫയലുകള്‍ എക്സ്ട്രാക്ട് ചെയ്യുന്നതടക്കമുള്ള കുറച്ചു പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ കാണാം.
ആ സമയം ഇങ്ങനെയായിരിക്കും output ലഭിക്കുക

Checksumming…
Extracting…
കുറച്ചു കൂടി കഴിയുമ്പോള്‍ ഇങ്ങനെ കാണാം.

output ലെ അവസാന വരിയില്‍ പറഞ്ഞ പോലെ Enter അടിച്ചോളൂ. വിന്റോ Close ആയി പോകുന്നു.
മേല്‍ കാണിച്ച പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളുടെ ഫലമായി ഇപ്പോള്‍ Root ന്റെ Home ല്‍ jdk1.6.0_07എന്ന പേരില്‍ ഒരു ഫോള്‍ഡര്‍ പുതുതായി ഉണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ട്.
സ്റ്റെപ്പ് 4
ജാവയും My sqlഉം തമ്മില്‍ ലിങ്ക് ചെയ്യുന്ന ലൈബ്രറി കണക്ഷനാണ് അടുത്ത സ്റ്റെപ്പ്.
Desktop ല്‍ ഉള്ള Dist ലെ lib ഫോള്‍ഡര്‍ Open ചെയ്യുക. ഇതില്‍ 3 ഫയലുകളുണ്ട്.
iText-2.1.3.jar,
iText-rtf-2.1.3.jar,
mysql-connector-java-3.1.14-bin.jar
ഇവ ഇവിടെ നിന്നും Copy എടുത്ത് Root ന്റെ Home ലെ jdk1.6.0_07 ലെ jre ലെ lib ലെ extഎന്ന ഫോള്‍ഡറില്‍ Paste ചെയ്യുക.
സ്റ്റെപ്പ് 5
Desktop ല്‍ ഉള്ള Dist ഫോള്‍ഡര്‍ തുറന്ന് അതിലെ SSLCApp.sh എന്ന ഫയലിന് പെര്‍മിഷന്‍ കൊടുക്കുക.
എങ്ങിനെ? മേല്‍പ്പറഞ്ഞ ഫയലില്‍ റൈറ്റ് ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്ത് Properties എടുത്ത് Permissions ലെ Owner Root ആക്കി മാറ്റി Read,Write& Execute ഇവ ടിക് ചെയ്ത് കൊടുക്കുക
തുടര്‍ന്ന് SSLCApp.sh ഡബിള്‍ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്താല്‍ വരുന്ന വിന്റോയിലെ Run ല്‍ ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക.
ഏതാനും സെക്കന്റുകള്‍ കഴിയുമ്പോള്‍ SSLC Management Information System എന്ന തലക്കെട്ടോടെ ഒരു വിന്റോ വരും ഇതിലെ username നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്ക്കൂള്‍ കോഡാണ്. എന്റര്‍ അടിക്കുക password തല്‍ക്കാലം നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്ക്കൂള്‍ കോഡ് തന്നെ. എന്റര്‍ അടിച്ചാല്‍ ഇനി login ചെയ്യാം.

മലപ്പുറത്തെ മാസ്റ്റര്‍ ട്രൈനര്‍ ഹസൈനാര്‍ മങ്കട കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ക്കുന്നു……
SSLC A-LIst ഡാറ്റാ എന്‍ട്രി സോഫ്റ്റ്വെയറിന് mysql-server-5.0 മാത്രം പോര, mysql-client-5.0 ഉം കൂടെ ഇന്‍സ്റ്റാള്‍ ചെയ്യണം. database copy ചെയ്യാന്‍ ഇവിടെ നല്കിയ command ല്‍ ഏത് database എന്ന് കാണിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. അതിന് താഴെ പറയുന്ന command ആണ് നല്കേണ്ടത്. mysql -u root -proot sslc
അത് പോലെ ഓരോ ദിവസവും എന്റര്‍ ചെയ്യുന്ന data യുടെ backup താഴെ പറയുന്ന രീതിയില്‍ എടുത്ത് വക്കാവുന്നതാണ്. ഒരു ഫോള്‍ഡര്‍ create ചെയ്ത് അത് ടെര്‍മിനലില്‍ തുറന്ന് താഴെ പറയുന്ന command type ചെയ്താല്‍ മതി. Ex:- day1 എന്ന ഫോള്‍ഡറിലേക്ക് backup എടുക്കണമെങ്കില്‍ Right Click on the Folder – open in terminal- command type ചെയ്യുക.
mysqldump -u root -proot sslc>day1.sql എന്റര്‍ അടിക്കുക.
Java നേരത്തെ Install ചെയ്ത സിസ്റ്റത്തില്‍ ബ്ലോഗില്‍ പറഞ്ഞ 3 ഉം 4 ഉം step ആവശ്യമില്ല. പിന്നീട് programme run ചെയ്യിക്കാനായി (step: 5) SSLCApp.sh എന്ന ഫയല്‍ ഡബിള്‍ ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്ത് run ചെയ്യിക്കുന്നതിന് പകരം Desktop ല്‍ ഉള്ള Dist ഫോള്‍ഡറിലെ തന്നെ SSLCApp.jar എന്ന ഫയലില്‍ right click ചെയ്ത് open with sun java 6 run time എന്നതില്‍ ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്താല്‍ മതി. ( Edusoft ലെ geogibra install ചെയ്യുമ്പോള്‍ sun java ഇന്‍സ്റ്റാള്‍ ആവും.)

ലോഗിന്‍ വിന്റോയില്‍ Actions ല്‍ configure login manager എടുത്ത് റൂട്ട് പാസ്സ്വേഡ് കൊടുത്ത് എന്റര്‍ ചെയ്താല്‍ സ്ക്രീന്‍ ഒന്ന് ഇരുളും. അതില്, Permissions എന്ന ടാബില്‍ Allow system administrator to login ടിക് ചെയ്തു കൊടുത്താല്‍ മതി.
ദാ, ‘പാവം എസ്.ഐ.ടി.സി’ പറഞ്ഞപോലെ ഒരു പ്രശ്നം!

അപ്പോള്‍ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെടുന്ന വിന്റോയില്‍ username : സ്ക്കൂള്‍ കോഡ് കൊടുക്കുക. എന്റര്‍ അടിച്ചാല്‍ Password കൊടുക്കണം. അതും സ്ക്കൂള്‍ കോഡ് തന്നെ.
ഈ വിവരവും മുകളിലെ പോസ്റ്റില്‍ സൂചിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടല്ലോ സാര്‍.

ഏത് കമ്പനിയുടേതാണ് പ്രിന്റര് എന്ന് കമന്റില്‍ സൂചിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. എങ്കിലും HP യുടേതാണ് പ്രിന്റര് എന്നു കരുതുന്നു.
Desktop-Administration-Printing എന്ന ക്രമത്തില്‍ മെനു സെലക്ട് ചെയ്ത് അതിലെ New Printerല്‍ റൈറ്റ് ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്ത് Add ബട്ടണ്‍ വഴി Local printer സെലക്ട് ചെയ്ത് അതിലെ Manufaturer HP ആക്കിക്കൊടുത്ത് HP Laserjet P സീരിസ് ട്രൈ ചെയ്ത് നോക്കിയിരുന്നോ?
HP Laserjet P1007 അക്കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ ഇല്ലാത്തതിനാല്‍ Trial & Error ആയി HP യുടെ Laserjet P സീരിസുകള്‍ ട്രൈ ചെയ്ത് നോക്കലാണ് ഒരു വഴി.

there was an error in my os because my 3.8.1 cd was corrupted.i started with new one .this time last error mentioned by me in the comments didn’t occured.but could not install JDK1.6.0_07. because no respose to ‘run’.tab.

right click the dist directory select open in terminal then run the command
sh jdk-6u7-linux-i586.bin
paste the output here.

I have installed 3.8.1 in my laptop,installation was successful but there is no panel in root and the user,
how can i restore the panel?

Open terminal ( for getting virtual terminal press ctrl alt f1)
login as root
run the command
# apt-get install gnome-panel
Insert the disk when needed.
restart the gdm
# /etc/init.d/gdm restart
login using your username and password

The printout should be taken before exporting!
After, thorough verification by taking printout, export and upload.
There will be some delay in geberating printout as pdf.
